Takeaway fish

Back in the 1970s Signora Irma from Trattoria Cubana in Marina di Ravenna invented takeaway fish. Delicious fresh fish was cooked on the spot for clients to take home or to eat while walking along the canal. A queue would wait at the counter eager to taste Irma’s fried fish and her risotto. The scenario has not changed over time. Today you can still buy a full meal, from starters to desserts, to take home or you can choose to enjoy your food in the  restaurant.
